Vendor Spotlight: Venezia’s Pizzeria

This month we are spotlighting one of our family favorites; Venezia’s Pizzeria! With familiar flavors and consistent quality, it’s always a hit when those big, cheesy slices make their way into the lunchroom. Partnering with restaurants like Venezia’s is all about giving students meals they’re genuinely excited to eat – and Venezia’s definitely delivers. Their food always brings excitement to the school day, and seeing student’s look forward to lunch is one of our favorite parts of what we do.

Venezia’s Pizzeria offers New York-style pizza, wings, subs, sandwiches, pastas, salads, and more, all made fresh and packed with flavor. Their first location in Arizona was opened on Mill and Southern Avenue in Tempe in 1998, and they have since expanded to 7 locations over the Valley, all family owned and operated. What started with pizza, calzones, and sandwiches – and even homemade marinara – has grown into a Valley favorite. Fun fact: Venezia’s was featured on the famous pizza-on-the-roof-scene from season 3 of Breaking Bad!

Our partnership with Venezia’s has been built on great communication, reliability, and a shared commitment to serving schools. Working with local restaurants like them allows us to bring students fresh and delicious meal options, while supporting the restaurant businesses that are an important part of our community. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to work alongside their team and appreciate everything they do to help make school lunch more exciting, one slice at a time.
